5th International Advanced Mobility Forum (IAMF): 7– 8 March 2012
IAMF was created five years ago to bring together scientists and key actors from the motor industry to exchange knowledge and accelerate development. IAMF is also the occasion for a large public to learn more about individual mobility of today and tomorrow. Taking place alongside the International Geneva Motor Show, the forum has been the ideal discussion platform for many renowned experts from its first edition on and has been providing worldwide visibility to numerous highly specialised start-ups.
Change in the Presidency
Philippe Dietrich Managing Director of the Competence Center for Energy and Mobility at the Paul Scherrer Institute, has been the major spark plug of IAMF. His commitment and competence have significantly contributed to the success of the event, its reputation for high quality presentations and global approach. After four years at the Presidency of the IAMF Organizing Committee, Philippe Dietrich has decided to hand over the keys of the well-established event to his successor, Bernhard Gerster.
Bernhard Gerster is head of the Automotive Engineering Division at Bern University of Applied Sciences, Engineering and Information Technology (BFH-TI). He is also founder and CEO of the Dynamic Test Center in Bienne (DTC AG), a private corporation with share capital hold by Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH-TI) and private firms. The DTC AG was founded in 1994 to respond to inquiries from trade and industry addressed to the Automotive Engineering Division of Bern University of Applied Sciences in Bienne.
